Despite a slower-growing retail market, Southeast Asia will continue to be a compelling story for retailers and brands. In 2023, it will trail only the larger regions of Asia-Pacific, Latin America, and the Middle East and Africa in total retail sales growth, per our forecast. In terms of ecommerce growth, it will lag only the latter two. Retail sales growth will stay above pre-pandemic levels.
