Amazon is producing a host of Canadian original titles. In an April 2022 event, the company announced the release of 10 Canadian shows across a range of genres. Most of the shows were set to premiere in 2022. Crave, the domestic OTT service from Bell Media, will have an audience of 6.8 million this year.

Alibaba fell behind Amazon in ad revenues in 2022 and is set to fall behind ByteDance by 2025. Google and Meta are the only $100 billion ad companies, and that will remain the case for a long time.
