They have a financial responsibility to shareholders, and the idea that the government can force them to carry content that is demonstrably going to harm their bottom line and make it more difficult for them to turn a profit or even be sustainable operations, seems a little ridiculous to me.

The idea behind the organic movement is that it's healthier in the long-term for individuals for the environment. We have all experienced the sheer misery of interacting with a really bad automated customer support system. And so because people can immediately understand the inferior outcome, I would imagine the AI-free movement might be bigger than the organic movement, but similar in a lot of ways.

I think it probably will be sustainable because with women's sports, women's basketball tends to be that once an audience is introduced, they do tend to stick around, so these leaps will probably hold. On the men's side, I don't think the decline is quite as meaningful, these things go in cycles.

And we've seen over years and years and years that Snapchat really struggles, really has struggled to sort of blow up into becoming a long-term sustainable profit generating machine. It's still just extremely small scale despite being very popular, right?
