Wage growth, combined with slowing inflation, helped boost retail sales by 3.8% in the holiday season, according to the National Retail Federation (NRF). The retail sales boost helped drive Q4 2023 GDP growth to 3.3% YoY. Travel leads all industries in digital ad spending growth in 2024. Few other industries benefit more from an economy where consumers have more money for discretionary spending.
