The UK has seen the steepest decline in cross-border buying. By the end of 2024, the number of people making cross-border purchases in the UK will have fallen by 16.8% since 2020. That’s largely due to the impact of Brexit, which added to the cost and complexity of shopping from countries in the EU. Spain and Italy are bucking the trend.
