Millennials feel the same about business and finance apps (21%). Gen X’s other least favorite apps are in the education and reference category (17%). Our take: Brands need to meet their audiences where they are.

Almost 40% of millennials say this would make an ad more influential for them, versus just 29.0% of Gen Xers and baby boomers. Millennials are also slightly likelier to choose this option than Gen Zers are. Millennials rely on bank content for product discovery and brand research.
