For a bank to receive credit for a feature, it had to be available within the retail mobile banking iOS app after customer authentication. The customer needed to have only a checking account. As such, this study excludes the TD MySpend app. Features also had to be in general release by January 9, 2023. We gave all seven FIs the opportunity to validate our findings; five did so.
