So TikTok says that it had 1.3 million posts about the Paris Olympics, which is a 1,800% rise compared to Tokyo. Some of that is the kind of surge in popularity of the platform itself, of course, but also, its ad revenue surged by 25% in the week following the opening ceremony alone.
