Ethan mentioned when you're on your bank like a banking app, maybe you're in a financial services mode at that time, but how long is it going to last? I could see a lot of complexity and potential inaccuracies about determining whether you're in that mode or not. And that's not even taking into consideration the privacy implications.

So this week, I saw a news item about Netflix quietly, maybe not so quietly, launching a games controller app in the Apple App Store. And it got me thinking, "Oh, that's interesting." It paves the way for them to allow their subscribers to play games on their televisions instead of their smartphones. And it got me thinking, just what is going on with their games business anyway?

I'm not sure if this app is going to be a hit, but I think there's room for an app that's less complicated than something like what Instagram's become or TikTok or any of the other existing social networks or social media. There's room for an app like that. That's why BeReal has took off for a while. That's why this is taking off. So I don't know if it's going to stick, but I think there's room there.
