So we are seeing a little bit more muted growth for total back to school sales compared to prior years. But sales for online are going to be up by 7.4% versus stores which came in basically flat. Sara Lebow (02:57):. I have to imagine that also has to do with who the back to school shopper is.

I mean, they represent over 10% of e-commerce sales, would be second only to Amazon, and they just have Shopify audiences as their product and they're not really making a lot of noise about it either. And it's basically using that transaction data to plug into Facebook and Google to reach audiences.

Little Moons, which is a Japanese Mochi Ice Cream brand, had a huge increase in sales after people shared videos of themselves running around Tesco in lockdown, trying to find it on the supermarket shelves. And another thing we've seen here is that, in the cost of living crisis, people have been turning to TikTok to share tips on how to save money.

I just think it's, to Oscar's point, Linda's got to do something because thanks to a non-compete clause that she had with NBCU, she can't do ad sales. So what she's doing makes more sense to her cleaning the floors. But I just think it's pretty hilarious that they decided to poach somebody to sell a product that at the moment doesn't really have viable video.

It's tied with Amazon for hardware sales, so its dongles reach about 40% of the market. As you pointed out, it commands about 50% of the open market programmatic CTV ad spending, and it's moving into content. It's going to spend a billion dollars, or north of a billion dollars, on content.

So we said 30% of this turnaround in online store sales growing 7% in Q1, up from flat last year, 30% big spring sale, 20% growing selection, but 50% most of it's fast delivery times.

It's very difficult to measure your digital investment with your in-store sales, particularly when you're a CPG brand that's coming through a retailer and that sort of a black box. That is one of the struggles of marketers is justifying their digital investments.

So if you think about retail, e-commerce sales, just the number of people buying goods on the internet that is continuing to grow really, really healthily and the sheer volume of goods that people buy online now is really, really pretty large and pretty impressive.

You're not promoting a different product or another brand product on site, but you're forming a partnership where it's all sale.

The Retail Giants Competition Show debuting at the end of October will feature entrepreneurs pitching their products to an audience and a panel of judges including Amazon executives like its VP of US Ad Sales and the Ring smart doorbell creator whose company Amazon bought. As well as celebrities like goop founder, Gwyneth Paltrow, these will be some of the judges.

I think our forecast says that by 2027, more than half of the sales dollars from pets are going to come from online sales, so they're just in a good position and good category. So I wonder if shoppable media should just be interactive media and shouldn't focus so much on driving sales, but driving engagement, so discount codes, free trials, booking test drives. They are still working to offload the Yeezy inventory, and it's worth noting that I think the sales that they're generating from that inventory is still something that's impacting their top line sales.
